Hi there. We're talkin pizza here, the original New York style. A client from when I worked in Pasadena took me here after I assisted in transporting him from the psychiatrist appointment to his home in La Puente. No one else from the wraparound team could take him.
The client said that he loves their pizza and gets a cheese slice so that he can taste the pizza more. I think he was right. The man behind the counter was Italian, and he was the owner. He told me that they filtered in the water, like New York has, in order to make this divine intervention, pizza. It confirmed that it was his family's receipe, from Italy. Damn it was good, my pepperoni slice.
Well, I didn't know how good this pizza was until I was invited to the client's graduation including Scardino's pizza and a game of minature golf. I didn't know how meaningful this fun event with the client and his father was until my own father died a few days later. I cherish this memory as I look back.
Almost a year later, I viewed their website and they have some awesome photographs of their pizza, or other dishes. I reccommend that you seek them out if you are a pizza lover. They are located at 1627 North Hawthorne Blvd, in El Monte. As I look at their buisness card the names on it are Guisseppe & Luigi.
